galaxy: Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 event: Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Flip3 may get new colour options – Times of India

Last week, Samsung sent out invites for an online ‘Galaxy Unpacked Part 2’ event. The event comes a day after Google rolled out its new flagship smartphones Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. As the name of the event states, this is the company’s second Galaxy Unpacked event this year and you can stream it live at 7:30 pm IST on the company’s website. Although the company hasn’t revealed what it will showcase during the event, it is expected that it will launch new colour options for its foldable smartphones Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3. Both the devices were launched at the first Galaxy Unpacked event in August this year.
As per the rumours, the company may also allow users to fully-customise the colour scheme of their foldable smartphone. The colour options are also tipped in the teaser video of the event. The colours seen in the video are – grey, light pink, white, blue, and yellow. With the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 , the company offered buyers the option to pick an accent color for the hinge but that option went away on the Galaxy Z Fold3
Recently, the company announced two new colours for its Galaxy Z Series devices. The Galaxy Z Fold3 256GB variant got a new Phantom Silver colour option and Galaxy Z Flip3 128GB variant got a Lavender colour option. The company stated that the Phantom Silver has emerged as a popular colour among Galaxy flagship customers. Before the new colour schemes, the Galaxy Z Fold3 was only available in Phantom Black and Phantom Green colour options and the Galaxy Z Flip3 was available in Cream and Phantom Black colour options.
Apart from this, it is also rumoured that the company will also unveil a few new devices during the Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 event.
