Galaxy Z Flip 4 camera upgrades
The main area where the Galaxy Z Flip 4 has received upgrades is its main camera, and more precisely, the main camera’s performance in low light conditions. To achieve this, Samsung has made the pixels on the new model larger than before, increasing them from 1.4 μm in size (Z Flip 3) to 1.8μm (Z Flip 4). Bigger pixels mean that each one is able to capture more light, helping the phone perform better when shooting photos and video in darker conditions.
Lastly, there are also a couple of software features thrown in, although they are more gimmicks than anything useful. One is a camcorder mode that lets you imitate shooting with, well… a camcorder, but that option was already there and Samsung just seems to have changed the name of it. The other “feature” is being able to choose which part of the display is your viewfinder, which is the same functionality as the camcorder.
How many cameras does the new Galaxy Z Flip have?
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 has two cameras: a main and an ultra-wide, as well as one selfie shooter. Basically, it is the same configuration as that of the predecessor.
Galaxy Z Flip 4 camera: How many megapixels will it be?
The Galaxy Z Flip 4’s cameras have the same amount of megapixels as the ones on the Z Flip 3. In other words, a 12MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide, and a 10MP selfie snapper.
