November is a pretty exciting month for new game releases. The much-awaited God of War Ragnarok and Sonic Frontiers are set to release in November 2022, alongside the recently announced Warzone 2.0. Previously released It Takes Two will be coming to Switch, and Valkyrie Elyisum will be coming to PC. Besides these, Gotham Knights, which launched in October, will get a new Heroic Assault mode that enables 4-player co-op to take down Gotham villains. November 2022

Sega is bringing back Sonic with a modern take on the franchise. Sonic Frontiers is an open-zone platforming game set in Starfall Islands. Starfall Islands is a group of five massive islands with forests, waterfalls, and deserts alongside unique action-platforming challenges and hidden secrets. On these islands, you will encounter various types of puzzles and creatures. Sonic Frontiers has a brand-new battle system and skill tree to improve combat. Besides these, there are portals across the islands that will teleport you to Cyber Space levels with even more challenging platforming.

God of War Ragnarok – November 9

The much-anticipated God of War Ragnarok is finally releasing soon. The game will follow Kratos and Atreus through the Nine Realms of Norse mythology. It will also feature several characters from Norse mythology including Thor, Odin, Freya, Tyr, Angrboda, Brok, Sindri, Mimir, and Durlin. You can expect action-packed combat similar to 2018’s God of War, with improved weapons and abilities. Atreus will also be a bigger part of the story and combat experience in Ragnarok. The game reportedly has a runtime of 40 hours, split equally between the main story and side quests.

Warzone 2.0 – November 16

Activision is launching a brand-new version of its popular shooter Warzone, called Warzone 2.0. The game will feature a massive new map called Al Mazrah, which has diverse geography including depots, coastal towns, rocky peaks, deserts, industrial areas, subterranean spaces, rivers, and more. Warzone 2.0 will also improve the gameplay experience with swimming and aquatic combat. Besides these, the Gulag will now have 2v2 battles instead of Warzone’s 1v1, and there will be AI enemies on the map.
