Garmin has today launched its Venu 2 Plus smartwatch in India. The Venu 2 Plus is Garmin’s first-ever smartwatch with voice calling features and hands-free voice assistance. The gear comes with more than 25 built-in sports applications. It has multiple health-tracking features, including a Body Battery Energy Monitor, pulse oximeter, Health Snapshot and stress tracking. The smartwatch is available in three colour options – Graphite Black, Cream Gold and Powder Grey.

The Garmin Venu 2 Plus retails at Rs 46,990 in India. It is available in three colour options – Graphite Black, Cream Gold and Powder Grey. The smartwatch can be purchased via Amazon, Flipkart, Tata CLiQ, Tata Luxury, and its official website. The Garmin Venu 2 Plus can be purchased via offline stores, including GBS stores, Helios, Just in Time and Croma.

The Garmin Venu 2 Plus has a 1.3-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 416×416 pixels. A layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 is applied to the top of the display’s protection. The smartwatch has a built-in microphone for making phone calls. It supports music streaming from Spotify, Amazon Music and Deezer. Users can download up to 650 songs on the smartwatch.
Users can make phone calls directly from their watch. It supports Siri, Google Assistant, and Bixby voice assistant. The Voice assistance features allow users to respond to texts and ask questions using the gear. The smartwatch could also be used to control compatible smart home gadgets.
Additionally, the device has a comprehensive set of health and fitness features, including a Body Battery Energy Monitor, pulse Ox sensor, Health Snapshot and stress tracking. It also has Gamin pay support for contactless payments.
The company claims Garmin Venu 2 Plus can offer up to 9 days of battery life on smartwatch mode up to 24 hours in GPS mode. It comes with fast charging support that Garmin says to provide one day of battery life with just 10 minutes of charging.
