geekbench: Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset surfaces on Geekbench – Times of India
Samsung’s next batch of foldables is nearing the launch, and we are getting to know new details about the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Fip 4. Now, one of the two foldables – the Galaxy Z Flip 4 – has appeared on the Geekbench, revealing one key detail about the upcoming foldable smartphone.
The Geekbench listing for SM-F721U, which is alleged to be the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 4, confirms that it would come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset. As per the listing, the chipset bears the codename ‘Taro’ and has a maximum clock speed of 3.19GHz, which is expected to be the frequency of the Cortex-X2 prime core. Then there are three cores running at 2.75GHz, which could be the Cortex-A710 cores and four more cores clocked at 1.8GHz, likely to be the Cortex-A510 power-efficient cores.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 unit tested on the Geekbench had 8GB of RAM and was running Android 12. The upcoming smartphone scored a single-core score of 1,277 and a multi-core score of 3,642.
Recently, the Z Flip 4 was also spotted on the 3C certification, revealing that the foldable would come with a 3,595mAh battery. The smartphone would reportedly boast a dual-cell battery having a capacity of 2555mAh and 1040mAh. Furthermore, the Flip 4 is rumoured to come with support for 25W fast charging.
