Sony has decorated Mumbai metro trains with God of War Ragnarok designs. Images from the game featuring Kratos and Atreus can be seen outside and inside the metro along with the release date of November 9th, 2022. Handles inside the metro also have a PS5 branding on them. Besides these, some Indian game retail stores are also promoting God of War Ragnarok. The upcoming title is expected to be extremely popular in India as well as across the globe. The God of War franchise has gathered a dedicated fanbase over several years.
While describing the story of God of War Ragnarok, developer Santa Monica Studio has said, “Fimbulwinter is well underway. Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as Asgardian forces prepare for a prophesied battle that will end the world. Along the way they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. The threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer. Kratos and Atreus must choose between their own safety and the safety of the realms.”
Recent leaks claim that God of War Ragnarok could be 40 hours long. The game’s main story is expected to run for 20 hours, with 16 and a half hours of gameplay and 3 and a half hours of cutscenes. Besides these, the game may have 20 hours of side quests, with 19 hours of gameplay and 1 hour of cutscenes.
