Google further integrates Google Forms response charts in Docs, Slides
Users will now be able to embed linked response charts from Google Forms into Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Drawings. The feature eliminates the need to re-copy the response chart from the form and allows users to refresh an embedded chart by simply clicking the “Update” button.
The new feature was announced by Google through a Workspace update blog post. “This feature is useful for sharing real-time responses to polls or surveys and for incorporating Forms responses data into presentations or reports,” the company said.
The feature is available to all Google Workspace customers, as well as legacy G Suite Basic and Business customers. It is also available to users with personal Google accounts. It has started rolling out to end users from March 1. The rollout is likely to finish within 15 days.
Recently, Google rolled out new features for Spaces in Google Chat. These include features like setting Space Managers, Space guidelines and Space descriptions. Announcing via a blog post, Google said that these features are aimed to help users better organize people, topics, and projects.
The Space Manager role will give certain users more control over the management of space. They will also be able to add descriptions to Spaces and also define guidelines that establish rules and expectations for members to create a safer community experience. Descriptions for Space can be used to describe the purpose of the space, such as a place to discuss all things asteroids, which is a helpful context for members of the space.
