Google Maps may show how much you have to pay for tolls on your road trips

Google Maps is one of the most useful platforms from the internet search giant and the company keeps finding ways and means to make it more and more helpful. The app already shows its users the routes that come with tolls, allowing the commuter to make a choice in case they want to avoid the toll route before they begin their journey.
Building on that feature, Google Maps is working on adding support to show prices for tolls on roads, bridges, and more, according to a report by Android Police.
The report claims that a member of the preview program was spotted surveying users “in order to direct the Maps development team on how best to implement the feature” that displays prices of tolls.
The message reportedly said that the toll prices would be displayed along a driving route before the user selects it, which would allow them to make an informed choice.
Google Maps recognises and points out tolls on a route in India. Therefore, we expect the feature that gives the estimated cost of tolls to be rolled out for users in India, along with other regions as well, whenever that may happen.
Earlier this month, Google rolled out three new features to Google Maps for iPhone users. Firstly, Google Maps allows iPhone users to share their real-time location using Apple’s native messaging app — iMessage. Secondly, Google Maps will allow iPhone users to share their real-time location using Apple’s native messaging app — iMessage. The new widget design shows that it will be divided into two sections — one that shows traffic situations and the other that shows shortcuts to favourite places as well as other essential places. Lastly, Google Maps now comes with support for Dark Mode.
