Google officially reveals the colour options for the upcoming Pixel 7 series smartphones – Times of India

Google is all set to launch its next-generation Pixel smartphones — Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro — globally on October 6, 7:30 pm IST via a virtual event. Several leaks and rumours about smartphones have already surfaced online. But, this time around, Google itself is ahead of the tipsters by dropping official information of the Pixel 7 series phones. Following that trend, the company has now revealed the colour options for the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 series smartphones.
Google India has dropped a new teaser video of the phone that reveals the three colour options — Obsidian, Snow, and Hazel. The tweet reads, “ #Pixel7 Pro – coming soon in ???? Obsidian, ❄️ Snow, and ???? Hazel colours. Which one do you have your eyes on?”
The teaser video shows off the Pixel 7 Pro and it highlights the design of the upcoming smartphone.
While the design of the Pixel 7 Pro looks similar to the Pixel 6 Pro with some minor tweaks. The only noticeable difference is the camera housing has changed a little along with the way the lenses are placed at the back.
Meanwhile, the rumour mill has already revealed a lot of other details about the smartphone which includes a 2nd-generation Tensor chip likely to be called the Tensor G2 chip. The Google Pixel 7 is said to feature a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate support, while the Pixel 7 Pro will offer a bigger display. Also, the handsets will be available to purchase with up to 12GB RAM. Apart from that, the Pixel 7 series will run Android 13 OS out of the box
