Expected specs
Google Pixel 6 series was first announced at Google I/0 event this year. The smartphones will be powered by Google’s own chipset- Tensor. Another confirmed feature is that the Pixel 6 series will run Android 12 out-of-the box. It is also likely that the latest OS could be rolled out to other Pixel phones on the same day.
The new series will feature a new design with aluminium frame and matte finish on the back. The handsets will offer dual-tone colours on the back with a Black strip running horizontally. Google has already confirmed that both the smartphones will ship without the charger.
As per rumours, Google Pixel 6 may come with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. It is said to offer 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone is said to come with a 50MP primary camera on the rear and an 8MP camera at the front. It is likely to house 4,614mAh battery.
Google Pixel 6 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to come with 5,000mAh battery. It is rumoured to sport a 6.71-inch curved pOLED display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
The smartphone may feature a triple rear camera on the back.
