Google Pixel 7 Pro Geekbench, AnTuTu scores leak ahead of launch
What the Pixel 7 Pro could offer
According to the video, the Pixel 7 Pro manages to register a score of 1,054 points on the single-core parameter of Geekbench 6 — generally referred to as a common benchmark standard for smartphone performance. This, however, shows a difference of less than 1.5% between the single-core performance of the Pixel 6 as well.
However, the clear difference lies between the multi-core scores of the Pixel 7 Pro and its predecessor. According to the video, the Pixel 7 Pro manages a multi-core score of 3,138 points — up from 2,739 points on the Tensor G1 chip-powered Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. This marks a jump of nearly 15% in multi-core performance on the upcoming, new Pixel 7 Pro — which should be indicative for the overall lineup.
The scores seem in line with other reports as well, which have so far stated that the custom Tensor G2 processor by Google would use the same core configuration based on Arm’s Cortex A55 core design — but use an updated machine learning system to optimise the performance of the chipset. As a result, the one area that should truly improve is in the overall performance — while the on-paper per-core difference should be minimal.
The Pixel 7 Pro also scored 801,116 points on Antutu. More details should be revealed shortly. The Pixel 7 and 7 Pro will be up for preorders in India later today as well, making it an exciting moment for fans of Google’s take on how an Android phone should be.
