Google Pixel 7 Pro users complain their volume buttons are falling off!

What’s wrong with the Google Pixel 7 Pro volume buttons?

Some Google Pixel 7 Pro users reported that the button unattached itself after only a few weeks of use, while others said it fell off after several months. A user on Reddit wrote that he found the volume button was missing when he went for a walk and took his phone out of his pocket to take a picture. Meanwhile, another user said it hasn’t even been a week since he got his Google Pixel 7 Pro, and the volume keys have already broken off.

Nick Sutrich, who works for Android Central, was the first to draw attention to the problem when he published a post about it using his Pixel 7 Pro. When Sutrich removed his phone from his pocket, he noticed that the volume rocker on his Pixel 7 Pro had become disengaged. This led him to the tragic discovery.

The problem with the volume button appears to be a design flaw that impacts a significant number of people who use the Google Pixel 7 Pro. Some customers were able to fix the problem by simply reattaching the button, while others were required to send their devices in for maintenance because they couldn’t fix it themselves.

Some users claim that Google representatives told them the problem was not covered by the warranty, according to a 9To5Google report. But according to Sutrich’s report, the tech giant has responded and stated that the “team is aware of the issue.” It is said that the volume rocker Google used on the Pixel 7 Pro was a significantly more secure version of the one found on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

This ironically comes after some Pixel 7 owners reported the glass on the rear camera was spontaneously cracking
