Google Pixel 7a tipped to launch with upgraded cameras, wireless charging: Report

The Google Pixel 7a is most likely codenamed as “Lynx”, and, as per the report, the new leaks point out that the phone might be more premium as compared to older Pixel A-series models.

Google Pixel 7a specifications (expected)

According to a report by 9to5Google, the Google Pixel 7a will come with a flagship camera, wireless charging, and much more in 2023. The phone may come powered by the same Tensor G2 chip which powers the Pixel 7 Pro, along with a ceramic body, a first for the Pixel lineup.

Among so many upgrades, users may also see the option for wireless charging this time in the upcoming Google Pixel-A series model. However, as per reports, the Google Pixel 7a’s wireless charging chip – P922 – will be only capable of 5W charging.

The tech giant may add a telephoto sensor to the device, making it the first smartphone in the Pixel A-series to boast this function. Interestingly, the vanilla Pixel 7 lacks this feature.
