Google Pixel Buds A-series update troubles users with pairing issues

Google’s affordable Pixel Buds A-series have received a new firmware update marked version 3.519.0, which is said to fix some minor issues. But instead of fixing the issues, the update seems to cause more trouble for the Pixel Buds A-series users.
The latest firmware update affects the multipair connectivity of the Pixel Buds A-series.
Do not mistake the multipoint connectivity with multipair. Unlike the Pixel Buds Pro, which has multipoint allowing them to connect to different devices simultaneously, the Pixel Buds A-series can pair to two devices, and one can connect them to each device when they want. However, this seems to be not working for users after they updated their Pixel Buds A-series to the latest firmware.
A number of Reddit users report that they cannot connect their Pixel Buds A-series earbuds with other devices after updating to firmware version 3.519.0. Users note that their earbuds only connect to the last connected device. So, when they are trying to connect their Pixel Buds A-series to other devices, the earbuds are not responding.
Users note that they have to put earbuds in pairing mode to connect with other devices, and they have to do it every time they want to connect their earbuds with other devices.
As per the thread, resetting the earbuds does not seem to solve the issue for users. Even after the factory reset, the issue seems to persist for the users, not allowing them to connect their Pixel Buds A-series with other devices.
Google has not acknowledged the issue so far. Until the issue has been fixed, it is advised to turn off the auto-update for Pixel Buds A-series.
Google Pixel Buds A-series retails for Rs 7,999 through Flipkart in India.
