Google Pixel tablet with charging dock leaked on Facebook: What to expect – Times of India

Google is expected to launch its first-ever tablet — the Pixel tablet – in 2023. The tech giant initially teased the upcoming device at the 2022 I/O conference and later shared some official renders which showed the tablet in white colour. The latest renders of the Pixel tablet were recently leaked on Facebook Marketplace. Other than the previous renders, Google hasn’t shared any official specs of the device. However, the recent leak on Facebook has offered some more insight into Google’s upcoming tablet.
The Facebook renders also shows that the Pixel tablet will come with a charging dock which will give it a Nest-like look when docked. The pre-release prototype of the Google Pixel Tablet was up for sale on Facebook Marketplace. This is not the first time a Google product was listed on Facebook Marketplace way ahead of its launch. Google is yet to declare the device’s official specs and release date. More details are expected to surface in the coming days.
Google Pixel tablet: Expected specs
According to a report by 9to5Google, the Facebook Marketplace renders were spotted by a Twitter user named ShrimpApplePro.

The Facebook leak shows the Google Pixel tablet in black colour. The front bezels look slimmer in this colour variant compared to the white colour version that Google officially shared. However, the supporting charging dock was shown in white in the Facebook post. The charging dock has a mesh-like design in the rear which is likely to improve the speaker output.
Previous rumours suggest that the Pixel Tablet may sport a 10.95-inch display and is expected to support Wi-Fi 6. The device is also likely to feature the Tensor G2 chipset which also powers the latest Google Pixel 7 series.

One of the leaked photos also shows the home screen of the device which offers a peak at the tablet-optimised version of the Pixel Launcher and the At a Glance widget. Meanwhile, another photo claims that the tablet will offer up to 256GB of storage, which also aligns with previous rumours.
The charging-cum-speaker dock is expected to use a barrel connector. The Pixel dock is also speculated to ship with a 30W power adapter that Google offers with the Nest Hub Max. However, the Facebook Marketplace listing didn’t show the first-party stylus that Google will reportedly introduce with the upcoming tablet. The Pixel stylus is likely to be based on the USI 2.0 technology.
