Google’s upcoming Pixel Tablet to come with a charging dock – Times of India

Earlier this year, at the I/O 2022 event, Google first gave a glimpse of its upcoming Pixel Tablet. While Google is not launching the Pixel Tablet this year, it gave us some scoop on its forthcoming tablet, setting our expectations straight.
Rumours were rife that the Pixel Tablet would have a charging dock. So, when docked, the whole setup would resemble the look of a Nest Hub. Well, the rumour stands to be correct. The Pixel Tablet will have a “Charging Speaker Dock,” which may come as an optional accessory, turning the tablet into a photo frame or a hands-free Assistant device, much like the Google Nest Hub.
One can watch shows, and movies or even listen to music with the tablet docked. Google says that the speaker would offer enhanced audio. Furthermore, the Pixel Tablet can be used as a hub for all the smart devices in your home.
The Pixel Tablet will have a nano-ceramic finish, which will make the tablet premium, beautiful and comfortable. Google says that it took special care of the magnets on the back of the tablet for easy docking and undocking experience.
While Google did not reveal anything about the display, it did mention that one can expect a “large” and “gorgeous display.”
Google also put an end to all the assumptions about what would power the upcoming tablet. The chip powering the Pixel Tablet will be Google’s newest Tensor G2, the same chip that powers the latest Pixel smartphones. If one were to assume the tablet would run Android 13.
The Pixel Tablet is expected to debut next year though we do not have an exact date.
