Gotham Knights, DC Comics and Warner Bros. upcoming action game featuring members of the Batman Family, could launch next month, as per a report by Gamereactor. The report is based upon two sources that point in the direction of the game release inching closer by. One of them comes from SteamDB where a playtest was recently uploaded but removed later. As per a report by PCGamesN, the Steam playtest had a “depot file size of around 82.41GB.”
Also, an Irish game store has reportedly claimed that the game’s official launch is set for April 24. Although nothing has been teased by the developer WB Games Montreal, we might get the official date soon. The game was supposed to come out in 2021 but it got delayed to this year. There is another big release coming up from DC in the form of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
Gotham Knights will introduce the four members of the Bat Family: Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Barbara Gordon and Dick Grayson. Their leader, Batman, is no longer with them in that he is presumed to be dead. In the absence of the Caped Crusader, the criminal element of Gotham City makes its move to get it under control, something which each of the four Gotham Knight will have to foil.
Gotham Knights will be playable in the third person only, much like the Batman Arkham Games, and you can either play it in single player or in co-op with one teammate. The action game will launch on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
