GTA 6 may get a much bigger map than its predecessor – Times of India

Several videos of Rockstar’s upcoming open-world title were recently leaked online by a hacker. The leaked videos revealed that GTA 6 will have a Vice City-like setting and the protagonists of the game are expected to be a couple. Now, a new report suggests that a Reddit user has used these leaked screenshots and videos to create the map of the upcoming game. The user with the account name ChurchofGTA has used some of the coordinates that were discovered in the leak and has combined them with GTA 5’s Los Santos to calculate the size of the map that will be included in GTA 6.

GTA 6 map: What to expect
Rockstar has confirmed the leaked videos were shared unofficially last month but the gaming studio has not revealed any other details about the game. The size of the GTA 6 map that has been created from these leaked videos seems to be much bigger than the previous game of the franchise.
Rumours, which came out before the video leak, also suggested that the upcoming game will cover half of North America. The calculations and estimates of the new map might be correct but it could be possible that Rockstar may change the map before the game’s official release.

Earlier this year, another rumour claimed that Rockstar might add more cities to GTA 6 after the game’s launch. However, it is unknown if these cities were already present in the video leak or will be added after the title’s release. More details are expected to surface soon as the game approaches its release date.
