gucci: This Xbox made by Gucci costs Rs 7.4 lakh – Times of India

High-end fashion brands often dabble in the world of tech with special edition products. Louis Vuitton has made luxury true wireless earbuds, Hermes has an Apple Watch and now it is Gucci’s turn to enter the arena. According to a report by Engadget, Gucci has collaborated with Microsoft to make a special edition Xbox.

What do you get with a Gucci Xbox?

You get the console, two wireless controllers and a special carrying case — all come with signature Gucci design. For instance, the console has a laser-cut monogram motif, which has the Gucci Rhombi design. The console has a GG pattern — representing Guccio Gucci’s initials — and the brand claims it also becomes a wordplay on the phrase Good Game. The controllers have red and blue stripes giving them a different look. The carrying case looks more like vintage luggage and has red and blue stripes on the easily recognisable Gucci design. Gucci has also included the Xbox Ultimate pass, which means that you will get access to over 100 titles

Can you buy the Gucci Xbox?

Yes and no. You can if you are willing to shell out $10,000, which is roughly Rs 7.4 lakh. The Gucci Xbox will go on sale on November 17. Also, do note that Gucci has made only 100 of these Xbox units, which will be sold through its flagship stores. So no in all probability you can’t because this is a really limited number and chances are you won’t be able to get your hands on them.
