Haier’s new washing machine comes with a built-in voice control feature that allows users to control the washing machine using voice commands. The company has launched its new AI-enabled washing machine series — Haier 979 — in India. The front-loading washing machine is also IoT-enabled, allowing users to use the smartphone app and voice assistant devices to access the machine and its functions. Apart from that, the washing machine comes with a Direct Motion motor with a 52.5 cm drum, a touchscreen control panel and more. Haier 979 front-loading washing machine, according to the company, is the industry’s first washing machine to come with built-in voice command. Apart from that, it is also an IoT-enabled device which means it comes with Wi-Fi built-in and users can use the companion app to control several functions using their smartphone from anywhere across the globe. As far as voice commands are concerned, users can use their voice to control the washing machine, select modes, etc.

In addition to Wi-Fi, IoT and voice commands, the washing machine also comes with a touch screen panel. According to the company, it allows users to control the washing machine better.
The new washing machines feature Haier’s integrated Direct Motion Motor which claims to significantly reduce the vibration of the machine, provide noiseless performance and also increase the longevity of the washing machine.
The machine comes up with 30+ wash programs designed to handle different types of fabrics, including delicate clothes. Additionally, there’s a new Hi-Care technology ecosystem includes high-efficiency ABT (Anti-Bacterial Technology) that claims to keep the gasket and detergent dispenser clean and hygienic, Dual Spray technology, and PuriSteam feature that eliminates bacteria, allergens, and mites effectively.
