NEW DELHI: Samsung is all set to launch its flagship smartphone series on February 9. However, the company is not ignoring its mid-range smartphone series. Samsung is said to be working on its new Galaxy A series smartphones. Samsung Galaxy A53 has been subject to multiple leaks and rumours. Now, press images of the yet-to-launch smartphone have surfaced online revealing the design and specifications of the handset.

German publication, Windefuture, has shared the press images of the mid-range Samsung smartphone. As per the images shared, the yet-to-launch Samsung Galaxy A53 resembles a lot to the Galaxy A52, which was launched last year. Samsung Galaxy A53 is expected to come with plastic frame design and a punch-hole display.

Samsung Galaxy A53 is rumoured to sport a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display is expected to offer 120Hz refresh rate.

The upcoming 5G smartphone of the company is said to be powered by an octa-core Exynos 1200 processor, paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM. The device may come in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB.

Samsung Galaxy A53 is expected to run Android 12 operating system, topped with the company’s own layer of Samsung One UI 4. The device is rumoured to come with dual SIM support and quad rear camera. The rear camera is expected to house 64MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide angle camera, 5MP depth and 5MP macro camera. Front is said to house a 32MP selfie shooter.

Samsung Galaxy A53 is said to come with a water-resistant design and backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support.
