NEW DELHI: Vivo has launched its much-teased V23 series of smartphones in India. The company has launched Vivo V23 5G and Vivo V23 Pro 5G smartphones in the country. Vivo V23 5G is the first smartphone to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor. The smartphone comes in two variants — 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB.
Vivo V23 5G runs Android 12 operating system topped with company’s own layer FunTouch OS 12.The dual SIM smartphone sports a triple rear camera with 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone houses a dual selfie camera which comprises a 50MP main shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.28 aperture. The dual selfie camera is accompanied with dual-tone flash.
The mid-range smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and it is backed by a 4200mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
Vivo V23 5G smartphone comes with a starting price tag of Rs 29,990. This new smartphone from Vivo succeeds the last year launched Vivo V21 5G. Both the smartphones are available at the same price tag of Rs 29,999. Vivo V21 is powered by MediaTek 800U processor and runs Android 11 operating system. The smartphone houses a 44MP selfie camera and 64MP triple rear camera.
