Here’s our first ‘unofficial’ look at the Samsung Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra

Samsung’s Galaxy S23 series is not exactly a secret anymore. Samsung has officially sent invitations for the launch of its first flagship series of 2023. The Galaxy S23 series is set to debut on February 1 at Samsung Unpacked event, scheduled to be held in San Francisco.
Galaxy S23 had been in the rumours much before Samsung confirmed the dates and started teasing the “wow-worthy resolution” and “made for moonlight” cameras.
We already had a look at the press renders of the vanilla Galaxy S23. Now, the press renders of the other two members – the Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra – have allegedly leaked courtesy nieuwemobiel.nl, a dutch publication.
New camera design and more
Similar to the Galaxy S23, the Galaxy S23+ ditches the contour-cut camera module, which covered the three camera sensors, for a much simpler design having separate cameras with a circular silver ring around each.
The Galaxy S23+, similar to the Galaxy S23, can be seen having a flat display with a punch-hole cutout and edges that are slightly rounded, similar to what we have seen on the Galaxy S22. The Galaxy S23+ is also expected to carry over the same design.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S23 Ultra can be seen as having a similar design to the Galaxy S22 Ultra. It still has a curved display, though it might be a little flatter than before. Further, there are four cameras at the back with a Laser AF and LED flash module.
Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra may come in four colour options
We see the Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 in four colours – Botanic Green, Cotton Flower, Misty Lilac, and Phantom Black. There were rumours that the Galaxy S23 Ultra would launch in different colours but the press renders show the smartphone in the same – Botanic Green, Cotton Flower, Misty Lilac, and Phantom Black – colours.
There are speculations that the Galaxy S23 series will feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The Galaxy S series is not expected to have major upgrades this year, but the Galaxy S23 Ultra may have some improvements, such as a primary camera of 200 MP and a new AMOLED display with a brightness of 2000 nits.
