Realme is all set to launch its first smartphone of the year in India. The company has confirmed the launch of Realme 9i in the country. The Chinese smartphone maker has started sending invites for the virtual launch of Realme 9i which is scheduled to take place on January 18.

The company has also confirmed that it will be the first smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. The smartphone is also confirmed to come with 33W fast charging support and virtual RAM.

This is the same smartphone that the company launched in Thailand and Vietnam recently. The smartphone maker is expected to launch the same version in India.

Realme 9i comes with a 6.6-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2412 pixel resolution. The smartphone display comes with 90Hz of adaptive refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor.

Realme 9i packs 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. Users can expand the storage up to 1TB by adding a microSD card. The smartphone comes with dual SIM support and runs Android 11 topped with the company’s own layer of Realme UI.

Realme 9i sports a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP B&W portrait camera and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 16MP selfie shooter with an f/2.1 aperture.

The smartphone comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
