Honor 80 GT with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 launched in China: Price, features and more – Times of India

Chinese smartphone maker Honor has expanded its smartphone series lineup with the launch of Honor 80 GT in China. Currently, the smartphone is only available in China but will be available for purchase in other countries soon. Buyers can pre-order the phone starting tonight (January 27) and will go on sale starting January 1, 2023
Honor 80 GT: Price, features and more
Honor 80 GT price starts at 3299 yuan (approximately Rs 39,118) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The 16GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at 3599 yuan (Approximately Rs 42,695). The smartphone comes in three shades– Interstellar Black, Streamer Mirror, and Light Rain Meteor.

Honor 80 GT: Specifications
Honor 80 GT has a 6.67-inch OLED panel with 1400 nits of brightness and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The screen offers 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. There’s also an independent display chip which increases the game frame rate by up to 100% and reduces the power consumption by 25%.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
As mentioned above, Honor 80 GT comes in two RAM and storage options– 12GB RAM+256GB storage variant and 16GB RAM+256GB storage variant.
Honor 80 GT runs MagicOS 7.0 UI based on Android 13 operating system out of the box.

On the back, the smartphone packs a triple rear camera setup comprising a 54MP Sony IMX800 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video chats, the smartphone sports a 16MP sensor.
The smartphone packs a 4800mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. Other features on the phone onboard– IR blaster, NFC, and linear motor.
