horizon forbidden west: Here’s when Horizon Forbidden West could launch – Times of India

Horizon Forbidden West, Guerilla Games’ sequel to the acclaimed third-person action-adventure game Horizon Zero Dawn, is not going to launch this year, as per a report by Bloomberg. The game was speculated to launch in 2021 but the report says that the launch has been pushed to early 2022 for now with no confirmed launch date.
Horizon Forbidden West would be one of the big games to launch on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. It seems like the developers do not want to rush the launch and suffer a similar fate as Cyberpunk 2077, one of the most-awaited games that came out in December 2020. Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment has already got a feather in its cap with the PlayStation-exclusive Ghost of Tsushima that was received very favourably and would like to add another.
Horizon Forbidden West continues the story of the young hunter Aloy, the protagonist of Horizon Zero Dawn and features the Machines again. While the trailer showed the majestic in-game open world, it revealed little when it came to the story. Yes, the altercation between good and evil is the backbone of good video game stories, but the trailer just showed the challenges that lie ahead for Aloy in a world whose creatures are dying, divulging very little about the story, which could be a good or a bad thing depending upon how big a fan you are.
For the PS5, Horizon Forbidden West could come with PS5-exclusive features like haptic feedback for the DualSense controllers, faster loading times, more detailed graphics etc.
