Queen Elizabeth II is England’s longest-reigning monarch, her reign going on for over 70 years. She breathed her last at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
The queen’s son, Prince Charles, is now the successor to the British throne and is now crowned King Charles III. He reportedly said in a statement that Queen Elizabeth II’s death will be “deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world.”
