How this Microsoft Outlook upgrade may help Apple users – Times of India

Microsoft has good news for Apple users. The latest update to the software giant’s Outlook tool can turn out to be useful for Apple users who have to work across multiple platforms. According to a report by TechRadar, the new update to Microsoft’s email service will offer users the capability to transfer activities among multiple Apple devices that are associated with them. This will allow users to start an activity like reading or composing an email in Outlook on one Apple device and can continue from the same point on another device. The report also mentions that Microsoft has other plans for its flagship email client and “big changes are on the horizon for Outlook.”
Microsoft Outlook new update availability
As per the report, Microsoft 365 Product roadmap showed a new entry that reveals that the new update will be available for the general public from August 2022 and Microsoft might not preview the feature.
Other new features planned for Outlook
Microsoft has recently introduced its latest email experience named “One Outlook”, designed for users who have registered for the Office Insiders Beta Channel which aims to bundle the company’s multiple services into a single platform.
The report also mentioned that the company’s new email service was previously named “Project Monarch”, which offers users several new updates and changes including — the introduction to message reminders, easier ways to attach cloud files along with a unified view for the calendar, email and to-do items.
Apple’s new iWork suite productivity tools
Not only Microsoft, but Apple is also making readjustments to its productivity tools. Last year, the Cupertino-based tech giant updated its iWork Suite with a new set of “hybrid working-focused features” that offer users multiple options to “present and modify documents” while outdoor, the report claims.
