How to auto-delete your YouTube history on your mobile phone
YouTube is one of the most popular video platforms, with millions of users around the world. Your YouTube viewing and search history can be accessed by anyone with access to your device, laptop, tablet, or mobile, as well as third-party apps that collect information for marketing purposes. Google allows users to delete their viewing history if they want to.
You have the option of deleting your viewing history whenever you want. If you don’t have enough time or forget to delete it from time to time, YouTube offers the option to have it deleted automatically after a set period of time.
Open YouTube app and go to your Google account.
Click on Settings.
Tap on History & Privacy.
Go to Manage all activity.
Tap on the auto-delete option.
Select the auto-delete time frame of your choice and tap Next.
Tap on confirm to save your auto-delete activity option.
Click Confirm/Got it at the bottom right of the page and your history auto-deletion will be activated.
All of the recommended videos that appear on your YouTube homepage will be removed if you clear your watch history and search history. It will not delete your favourite videos or subscribed video channels.
Make sure you clear your history on both the mobile app and on your desktop if you want to do a more thorough sweep of your YouTube search history.
