How to avoid this ‘big irritating’ WhatsApp issue

WhatsApp with over two billion users globally is surely one of the most popular messaging platforms. Over the years, the instant messaging app has introduced multiple features to improve the overall experience for its users. One such feature is the ability to mute notifications from chats.
Annoyed by how your WhatsApp is flooded with random messages from relatives/friends who just don’t take the hint to stop messaging even if you don’t reply back? Then fret not. It is here that the Mute chat feature on WhatsApp will come in handy. WhatsApp allows its users to mute notifications for both individual and group chats. Once you mute a particular chat/group, you will still receive messages sent by these contacts. But your phone won’t make a sound or vibrate when the messages are received. The chats, however, will appear on top of the chat list.
Chats on WhatsApp can be muted forever or for a limited period of time, as per one choice. The Facebook-owned app offers three time periods to its users- 8 Hours, 1 Week and Always.
