Assembly elections due in the five Indian states are now over and today (March 10) is the counting day. The final result for all the five states — UP, Punjab, Goa, Manipur and Uttarakhand will be announced today.
The counting of votes started at 8 am today (March 10) and the result will be declared by the end of the day. You can keep a track of the live vote counting and final result easily using your smartphone or laptop. Here’s a simple way in which you can check on the election results.
Check election results via Election Commission website
You can use the Election Commission website (https://results.eci.gov.in) to keep a track of the live counting. Follow the below-mentioned steps to check the results for all five states.
Open the Election Commission website — https://results.eci.gov.in
Now tap on the option ‘General elections to assembly constituency March 2022’
After this, a new tab will open which will consist of the name of a state. You can change the name of the state from the drop-down menu to see its results.
Check election results using the TOI app
You can also check the election results using the Times of India mobile application. The app is available on both Android and iOS platforms.
Open the TOI mobile app on your smartphone
You will now notice the live counting results on the main screen
After this, you can tap on the name of a particular state to see the complete analysis and the stories related to it.
