How to delete a photo or video from Facebook Story – Times of India

Social networking giant Facebook offers various features which help users to connect with their followers easily and one such feature is Facebook Stories. With the help of Facebook Stories you can share content between your scheduled video posts, with photos and short videos. All content posted to Stories lasts only 24 hours. Stories are full-screen, short-form, ephemeral and offer all sorts of creative, customisable overlays, which means more ways to be authentic and less pressure to be perfect.
How stories work
Stories are a place to get candid and connect with everyone with ease. Clicking Add to your story activates your device’s camera to capture an in-the-moment video or a candid photo, making story content even more personal than News Feed posts. You can also import existing photos and videos.
Here’s how you can delete a photo or video from Facebook Stories
Steps
1

Go to the Stories section at the top of your News Feed

3

Click to find the photo or video you want to delete

4

Click three dot options in the top right

5

Click Delete photo or Delete video

Bear in mind that when you delete a photo or video from your story on Facebook, it will also be deleted from Messenger. Any changes you make to your story will update across both apps.
Meanwhile, another Meta-owned platform — Instagram announced that it will soon discontinue its live shopping feature. Instagram’s live shopping feature allows users to tag products in their live broadcasts. The company updated its official blog post to announce that this feature will be no longer available for users starting March 16. Earlier, this feature was also available on Facebook. The social media giant removed this feature from Facebook in October 2022.
