How to delete last 15 minutes of Google search history

At Google I/O 2021, the company announced a new feature for the Google app. The feature allows you to delete the search history of the last 15 minutes with a single tap. Although the feature was announced almost a year ago, it was only available to iOS users till now. But Google has now confirmed to The Verge that it is bringing the feature for Android smartphones as well.

“We’re currently rolling this feature out on the Google app for Android and expect it to be available to everyone using the app in the next few weeks.” Google confirmed to The Verge. It is worth noting that the feature will delete the search history across your entire account, not just from the smartphone you are accessing the feature from. To know how to use this feature, you can follow these steps.

2.

Tap on your Google display picture at the top right corner of the screen.

3.

From the menu, tap on the Delete last 15 minutes option right below Search history.

4.

One you tap on the button, you will see a message at the bottom of the screen. “Deleting history. Changes will show in your account soon.” the message reads. The message also has a Cancel button in case you change your mind.
