How to know when JioPhone next will arrive at your nearby store

Reliance Jio has introduced a new smartphone called JioPhone Next. Made in partnership with Google, the device is one of the most affordable smartphones in the country. You can buy the device from JioMart Digital stores from November 4. For the payment, you get multiple options, either you can make an upfront payment of Rs 6,499 or you can buy the smartphone through an 18 months or 24 months EMI plan. If you choose the latter, the company will charge an additional Rs 501 processing fee and you will be locked to a Jio data plan.

The JioPhone Next dual-SIM smartphone has a 5.45-inch HD+ display. It is powered by a 1.3Ghz quad-core Qualcomm 215 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. In terms of camera, it has 13MP lens at the back and a 8MP selfie shooter at the front. The phone is targeted at the 2G feature phone users. Although the specs may not impress many, it is expected to have a substantial lead over its competitors, thanks to the data plans and records of previous smartphones launched by the company.
