How to link TNEB and Aadhaar online on nsc.tnebtld.gov.in – Times of India

The Tamil Nadu government owns the company that generates and distributes electricity, the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board. All customers of the Tamil Nadu power board are informed that an EB number must be linked with an Aadhaar card. According to the guidelines established by the government, legitimate information on appropriation beneficiaries must be created, and it is stated that endowment will be withheld from those who do not link their Aadhaar.
TNEB subsidy
Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) is a subsidiary company of TNEB that promotes the coordinated development of electricity generation and distribution in Tamil Nadu. TANGEDCO officials have stated that linking Aadhaar is necessary in order to qualify for the government subsidy for the first 100 units consumed. The subsidy will no longer be given to those who do not link their Aadhaar.

Linking TNEB and Aadhaar
Many customers have been unable to pay their bills as a result of issues tying their Aadhaar numbers to their electricity service numbers. Due to this, TANGEDCO has now granted a two-day extension for the payment deadline for bills whose due dates fall between November 24 and November 30. It is important to note that this extension of time shall be allowed to those categories of consumers who are required to link Aadhaar.
