How to make your Apple iPhone speaker louder

Apple has added several new features to the iPhones with the latest iOS 15 update and maney are on the way with the upcoming iOS 15.4 update. However, there’s one feature that iPhones have had for a while or we can rather call it a hidden feature.

The feature in question is the ability to boost audio output of the speakers. Now, modern iPhones already have stereo speakers and they are also loud enough. Despite that if you feel that it would’ve been better had it been a little louder, a simple equaliser setting can do that for you. Here’s how to enable it.

Do note that this feature is available on almost all the iPhone models. It is also important to understand that there can be several reasons behind your iPhone not sounding loud enough as it used to be. Changing the equaliser setting only boosts the sound from the software, but if your speakers are blocked by the dust or damaged, then you might get the boosted output.

Steps to boost iPhone’s speaker output

1.

Unlock your iPhone and tap on Settings

2.

Open Music → Eq → Tap on ‘Late night’ option

3.

Head back and turn off the Sound Check option

You can now head back to the music player or any media app and start playing the media file, you’ll notice the slightly boosted sound output.
