How to save Wordle on your smartphone and play it offline
Wordle is now owned by The New York Times. The US-based newspaper purchased the word puzzle game for an undisclosed price in the “low seven figures”. As per the agreement signed between the two, Wordle will remain a free game for new and existing players. But that is for the time being and things may (or may not) change in the future.
In case you want to keep the game free for years to come, there is a workaround. According to some online reports, both Android and iOS users can save the Wordle game and keep playing it free for at least seven years. As we all know that Wordle is web-based and there is no app to download. But users can save a copy of the website right now and play Wordle every day for years. Also, saving the game on your device will allow you to play the game without an internet connection.
