Is there a secret feature to make the words appear on screen?

On the Spotify mobile app, tap the Now Playing bar at the bottom of the screen, then Lyrics when it appears. On the desktop and the web player, start the song, then click the microphone icon to the right.

How to see lyrics on Spotify (Android and iOS)

To get the lyrics to a song on the Spotify mobile app, bring up the song you want to play. Click on the Now Playing bar at the bottom of the screen. In this case, it’s the brown horizontal bar with the album thumbnail and song details on it.
