But you obviously want to get the words right — “la, la, la” just isn’t going to cut it when you’re belting out Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart.” So if you’re a Spotify user, how do you see lyrics on Spotify? Is there a secret feature to make the words appear on screen?

On the Spotify mobile app, tap the Now Playing bar at the bottom of the screen, then Lyrics when it appears. On the desktop and the web player, start the song, then click the microphone icon to the right.

How to see lyrics on Spotify (Android and iOS)
To get the lyrics to a song on the Spotify mobile app, bring up the song you want to play. Click on the Now Playing bar at the bottom of the screen. In this case, it’s the brown horizontal bar with the album thumbnail and song details on it.
As the song begins to play, you’ll see the word Lyrics appear on the Now Playing bar. Tap it.
The lyrics will now appear, synchronized with the music.
How to see lyrics on Spotify (desktop and web player)
You can find lyrics on both the Spotify desktop software and the web player by first starting the song.
In the bottom right-hand corner, you’ll see a small microphone icon. Click on that, and the lyrics will now appear.

Are there foreign-language lyrics on Spotify?
