How to setup your iPhone for Jio True 5G – Times of India
Apple recently rolled out the second major software update — iOS 16.2. The update brings many new features such as the new Freeform app, Apple Music karaoke feature named Sing, advanced data protection for iCloud, improved lock screen functionality and more. However, one of the main highlights of the update is the addition of 5G support for iPhone users in India.
Telecom operators Reliance Jio and Airtel are already offering 5G services in different parts of the country. So, iPhone users can now access the 5G network only from places where the services have already been launched. If you are a Reliance Jio user then you can easily set up your iPhone to access the Jio True 5G service.
Follow these steps to do so
Step 1: On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > Software Update and
update to the latest iOS version
Step 2: Next, go to Settings > General > About and if prompted follow the
steps to update to the latest carrier settings.
Step 3: To use a Jio 5G connection, go to Settings > Mobile Data > Voice &
Data > and select 5G AUTO as well as 5G Standalone ON
Step 4: Then go to Settings > Battery > Turn OFF Low Power Mode
