The Meta-owned platform allows users to share WhatsApp status to Facebook Story and other apps. The feature is available on both Android smartphone and iPhone users of WhatsApp. Here’s a step-by-step guide to share WhatsApp status updates to Facebook and other apps
How to share WhatsApp status update to Facebook Stories:
Open WhatsApp and go to Status
Create a status update in case you haven’t done already
You will see two sharing options based on if you want to share a new or old status update
In case you want to share a new status update, go to My status and tap on Share to Facebook Story.
You may be asked to allow or open the Facebook app. Click on it and go to Facebook app.
Here, select the audience you want to share with, then tap Share Now.
To share an old status update, tap My Status on iPhone or More by My status on Android.
Now, tap More and then tap Share to Facebook.
If prompted, tap Allow or Open to open the Facebook app and select the audience you want to share with
How to share WhatsApp status update to other apps:
Open WhatsApp and tab on Status
You will have two sharing options based on if you want to share a new or old status update.
To share new status update, go to My status and tap Share
In case you wish to share an old status update, go to My Status on iPhone or More by My status on Android.
Next, tap More next to the status update you want to share and then tap Share.
