WhatsApp Web is an important tool for all WhatsApp users and some people, especially during the ongoing work from home situation, prefer using WhatsApp Web. It simply brings added convenience to users.
The only major shortcoming of using WhatsApp web is that there’s no way to take a complete conversation screenshot like we can do on smartphones. This is because Windows 10 does not have a scrolling screenshot feature.
But fret not, there are several alternatives that you can use to take a full page screenshot of a conversation.
Method 1: Using Microsoft Edge web browser
Microsoft Edge comes with a full page screenshot feature. Simply press Shift + Ctrl + S and click on the Full page screenshot option and start scrolling to the WhatsApp Web conversation page. Once done, hit the Save icon.
Method 2: Using Chrome extension
There are several third-party Google Chrome extensions available that allow users to take full page screenshots on Chrome. Simply head to Chrome web store and search for any full page screenshot extension. You can look for Go full page, screenshot tool, screenshot master, etc.
Add it to your Chrome and then head to WhatsApp Web and open a conversation. Once the conversation is open, click on the extension to take the full page screenshot.
Also note that Google is expected to add a screenshot tool to Chrome in future updates similar to Edge. Once that happens, there will be no need for such extensions.
