How to update, things to keep in mind and more
Realme has started rolling out Realme UI 3.0 early access to Realme X50 Pro 5G smartphones. The smartphone was launched in February 2020 with Android 10 operating system. The smartphone received the Android 11 update with Realme UI 2.0 in December 2020. It looks like the smartphone will also receive the Realme UI 3.0 update based on Android 12 operating system.
The Realme UI 3.0 early access is now live for Realme X50 Pro users in India. Those interested in trying out the new features that will be arriving with the update can enrol into the program.
To enrol, head to Settings, scroll down and then tap on the Software Update option. Under the Software Update section, tap on the Settings icon at the top-right corner.
Here choose the Trial version and then tap on Early Access. After this, tap on Apply Now button, enter the details and hit Submit.
Once the application is accepted, the early access update for Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 will be received via the OTA update.
Here are a couple of things you should note before updating your smartphone to the beta software:
Your phone must not be rooted
Make sure to take the complete backup before updating to the beta software
It’s a beta version of Realme UI 3.0, so it can have some issues and bugs. Make sure to go through all the known bugs and issues listed by the company on the official community page.
Ensure that there’s at least 10GB of free storage space available.
