Now, the company has introduced three new “@” search shortcuts for Google Chrome that make it easier for users to search history, tabs and bookmarks.

Pre-requisites:
The new search shortcuts are available only on Chrome 108 or newer. So make sure to update your Chrome to the said version. Also, make sure that your browser has saved bookmarks, some open tabs and a browsing history to search for.
How to search tabs using the new shortcut
The tab search shortcut is called @tabs. The feature is designed to look at all the open tabs and find you the one that matches your search keyword. This especially comes in handy when dealing with a larger number of open tabs.
To use it, type @tabs in the address bar and press the Tab key. After this, you’ll a new tag –Search Tabs within the address bar. Alternatively, you can just type ‘@’ in the address bar and choose the Search Tabs option from the drop-down.
How to search bookmarks using the new shortcut
@bookmarks is the shortcut you’ll have to use here. This works similarly to the @tabs shortcut. All you have to do is type ‘@bookmarks and press Tab or choose the Search Bookmarks option from the drop-down options. Now, type your keyword to search.
How to search history using the new shortcut
Finding a website from history can be painful, especially when it is combined with mobile browsing history. Type @history and choose Search history or press the tab to quickly search the browser’s history.
