HP Spectre x360 16 and Spectre x360 13.5 laptops launched with 12th gen Intel CPUs | Digit

After launching the Victus 15 and Omen 16, HP has also renewed its other laptop lineups. This includes the Spectre series and more specifically Spectre x360 laptops. It has brought out the Spectre x360 13.5 and slightly more expensive Spectre x360 16. Both are driving the latest-gen Intel CPUs and GPUs. Both are sporting IPS LCD and OLED screen options, 32GB LPDDR4/DDR4 and up to 2TB SSD memory, Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, and a four-speaker unit.

This one has got a 16-inch 16:10 touch-responsive Corning Gorilla Glass display. HP offers the Spectre x360 16 in the following display SKUs: 

  • 3072×1920, IPS, 400 nits
  • 3072×1920, IPS, 400 nits
  • 3840×2400, OLED, 400 nits

The software inside is Windows 11 Home/Pro. Besides touch, you also get support for HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen support.

The display is complemented by quad B&O speakers.

Internally, the Intel Alder Lake-based Core i7-12700H or Core i5-1260P does the part of the heavy-lifting and the rest is shared by Intel Iris Xe iGPU or Arc A370M dGPU, and up to 32GB DDR4 (3200 MHz), up to 2TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD.

The x360 16 is also bearing a 6-cell, 83WHr battery, Intel WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, 2x Thunderbolt 4, 1x Type-A, 1x HDMI 2.1, 1x headphone/mic combo, 1x microSD slot, and a 5MP HD IR webcam.
