Huawei Watch Buds brings earbuds inside your smartwatch – Times of India

Huawei has a new, unusual watch for you — the Watch Buds — a 2-in-1 smartwatch and earbuds. The smartwatch that was first launched in China has now made it to Europe, priced at €499 (around Rs 44,000).
As the name implies, the 2-in-1 smartwatch and earbuds, Huawei Watch Buds, is a smartwatch with earbuds inside it. From the outside, it looks like any other smartwatch, but inside it has a pair of pill-shaped true wireless earbuds. So, the smartwatch is essentially the charging case.
The smartwatch features 1.43 inches AMOLED, and flip it up, and inside, you will find a pair of wireless earbuds. Further, the smartwatch has a leather strap.

The Huawei Watch Buds include typical fitness tracking functions such as heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and blood oxygen level measurement. The watch is water-resistant with an IPX7 rating, while the earbuds have an IPX4 rating.
The watch and the buds are compatible with Android and iOS and connect to the devices using the Huawei Health Connect app.
Measuring 21mm in length, 10mm in width, and weighing a mere 4 grams, the pair of wireless earbuds come with AI noise cancellation and various features, including wear detection, wind noise suppression, and gesture support.
The wireless earbuds can automatically and also identify which earbud is placed in the left or right ear and adjust the volume channel accordingly. Moreover, the earbuds are equipped with Triple Adaptive EQ, which uses integrated microphones and bone conduction sensors to enhance the audio quality.
All this sounds great, but the battery life is not that great. Huawei says that the earbuds can last up to three hours with noise cancellation enabled, and the watch lasts three days long. You can just place the earbuds inside the watch and charge them at once.
