Huawei made a slew of announcements recently, including the Nova 9 smartphone, Watch GT 3 smartwatch and a new pair of earbuds it has named the ‘FreeBuds Lipstick’.
The Watch GT3 will come in 42mm and 46mm and bear strong resemblances to the Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro. The Watch GT 3 won’t have the new eSIM though. But you can still take calls via your smartphone’s Bluetooth.
The FreeBuds LipStick are the company’s new wireless earbuds and come only in red. They are named such because of the lipstick-shaped stainless steel charging case.
The Watch GT 3 is priced at €329 (42mm) and €349 (46mm) while the FreeBuds Lipstick’ earbuds are priced at €249 and are a limited edition product. Preorders for the watch are open and those who preorder will get a free pair of Huawei FreeBuds 4i wireless earphones. The product will go on sale from November 10.
Huawei Watch GT 3
The front case of the watch is made of stainless steel while the rear case is made of plastic. The 42 mm variant comes in three strap options: Black Fluoroelastomer strap, White leather strap and Gold Milanese strap. On the contrary, the 46mm version has also got three strap options, with two different than that with 42mm ones. They are Black Fluoroelastomer strap, Brown leather strap and Stainless steel strap.
The Huawei Watch GT 3 42 mm comes with a 1.32-inch AMOLED display while the 46mm variant comes with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display. The smartwatch is powered by an ARM Cortex-M processor and comes with 4GB ROM and 32MB RAM. It comes with all-day SpO2 monitoring , over 100 sports modes to track your fitness routines, a personal AI running coach and more.
The watch is compatible with HarmonyOS 2 or later/Android 6.0 or later/ iOS 9.0 or later operating systems. It is also 5 ATM water-resistant.
The various sensors on the smartwatch include an accelerometer sensor, gyroscope sensor, geomagnetic sensor, optical heart rate sensor, air pressure sensor and temperature sensor.
