POCO X3 Pro

The POCO X3 Pro offers incredible value for money. Despite its sub-Rs 20,000 price tag, it delivers a large 120Hz HDR10 display, the Snapdragon 860 chip, and a 48MP quad-camera setup. Moreover, it also comes with support for UFS 3.1 storage and offers up to 8GB of RAM. Positioned as a mainstream gaming phone, it also impresses with its 240Hz touch sampling rate and stereo speakers. Its massive 5,160mAh battery is rated for 11 hours of gaming. Overall, the smartphone comes across as a compelling disrupter in the sub-20k segment.

Redmi Note 10 Pro Max

An incredible value for money offering from Xiaomi is the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. Priced at just Rs 19,999, it ships with a 108MP main camera that’s accompanied by macro, depth, and ultra-wide sensors. Its display is a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate. This incredibly well-designed phone also ships with a 5,020mAh battery that’s supported by 33W fast charging. A solid all-rounder for sure.

Realme X7 Max

The Realme X7 Max was India’s first smartphone to carry a Dimensity 1200 chip at its heart. Despite being powered by the flagship MediaTek processor, it has a surprisingly affordable price tag attached to it. And its other specs are no duds either. It packs a 6.43-inch 120Hz AMOLED panel, a stellar 64MP triple camera setup, Dolby Atmos-powered dual stereo speakers, and a 4,500mAh battery that charges at 50W. And despite all this hardware, it has still managed to be slim and light.

iQOO 7

Among the best phones around the Rs 30,000 mark, the iQOO 7 is a gamer’s delight. The powerful Snapdragon 870 SoC fuels its operations, while as much as 12GB of RAM is on offer. This is one more phone in this nominee list that offers a 120Hz AMOLED display. A unique aspect about this panel is its Intelligent Display Chip that’s aimed at enhancing framerates in games. You get a 300Hz touch sampling rate as well, aside from a 4,400mAh battery that comes with 66W fast charging support. The sheer value for money this phone offers makes it a contender for this awards category.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G

This is the version of the Galaxy S20 FE that’s powered by the 5G-capable Snapdragon 865 chipset. Apart from the improved performance that this offers, nothing else has been toyed with. You still get a gorgeous 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and the same 12MP + 8MP + 12MP triple camera system of the original. Its 32MP front camera is a delight to click selfies with, while its 4,500mAh battery provides long hours of usage along with 25W fast charging support, as well as wireless and reverse wireless charging.

Apple iPhone 13

The iPhone 13 offers a solid set of features while keeping its price relatively low, at least as compared to its Pro siblings. Its Super Retina XDR OLED display might not offer a 120Hz refresh rate but it still supports Dolby Vision and is the same size as that of the iPhone 13 Pro. Its dual-camera system includes the same new 12MP wide and ultra-wide sensors of the Pro models that offer 47 percent better low-light performance. Plus, there’s the cool new Cinematic mode as well. Lastly, the beastly A15 Bionic chip powers its operations, giving it matchless performance.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3

Samsung was third time lucky as the Galaxy Flip3 has turned out to be a rather exciting smartphone. Despite its foldable nature, it has an advanced 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X on its front. On the flip side, there’s a tiny Super AMOLED panel for showing crucial information. Using this display, you can capture selfies through the 12MP + 12MP rear camera setup of this phone or go the traditional route and use its 10MP front camera. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chip that’s assisted by 8GB of RAM. The phone is priced attractively too, especially considering it’s a foldable device.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra

A flagship in every sense of the word, the Mi 11 Ultra provides an amazing camera array that includes a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 48MP ultra-wide shooter. Powered by the Snapdragon 888 chip, it also offers a stunning 120Hz QHD+ AMOLED display that bears Dolby Vision support.

Vivo X70 Pro+

Vivo has hit it out of the park this year with this device. This thorough photography beast applies ZEISS-engineered colour science to your photos and even bears the ZEISS T* coating to reduce lens flare. More interesting is its camera hardware. Its 48MP gimbal camera with an ultra-wide lens is its shining jewel and so is its 50MP OIS-supported wide camera that bears an f/1.6 aperture opening. Accompanying these shooters are 8MP and 12MP cameras that are aimed at offering 60x digital zoom. The Snapdragon 888+ powers this handset and it also gets a 120Hz QHD+ display.
