Chinese smartphone manufacturer Infinix is going to add another smartphone to its Zero lineup in India. The Infinix Zero Ultra, a relatively affordable smartphone with a 120Hz waterfall display and 200MP OIS camera, will debut in India on December 20, 2022, a Flipkart microsite reveals. For those catching up, Infinix released the smartphone in its native market a couple of months ago. Nonetheless, now that we have a release date, let’s discuss the specifications and expected price of the smartphone.
Infinix Zero Ultra specifications
The Infinix Zero Ultra has a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with support for up to 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the display supports a peak brightness of 900 nits, which is on par with several flagship smartphones in the market. Under the hood, the Zero Ultra comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset and a Mali G68 GPU, which falls short of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G on the Nothing Phone (1). The smartphone also runs on 8GB of RAM and has 256GB of internal storage. The phone boots XOS 12 based on Android 12.
To power the smartphone through the day, there’s a 4,500 mAh battery. While the capacity doesn’t look good for a smartphone with a 6.8-inch 120Hz display, the Zero Ultra supports 180W Thunder Charge, which could charge up the smartphone in less than 30 minutes via a Type-C port. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, 5G cellular reception, GPS, and Glonass. Now, let’s address the elephant in the room.
Infinix Zero Ultra expected price
The Infinix Zero Ultra has a 1/1.22-inch 200MP primary camera that supports optical image stabilisation. In addition, the smartphone has a 13MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone houses a 32MP selfie shooter on the front panel with dual-LED flash. In the international market, the smartphone costs $520, which is roughly equal to Rs. 42,500. However, the Indian pricing of the smartphone could be different from the international pricing.
