The chipmaker has also introduced the 13th gen Intel Core P-series and U-series mobile processors, which are touted to be perfect for people who want high performance on the go in thin form factors.
Intel 13th Gen Core H processor
The Intel 13th Gen Core H processor offers a 5.6GHz turbo frequency, which is the highest clock speed available for the laptop market. These are claimed to deliver up to 11 percent fastest single-thread performance and 49 percent faster multitask performance than the previous generation.
The processor offers full memory support of up to 128GB total for DDR5 (up to 5,600 megahertz) and DDR4 (up to 3,200 MHz). Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E for up to 6x faster internet speeds with no legacy Wi-Fi channel interference and there’s Bluetooth LE Audio and Bluetooth 5.2. There’s support for overclocking capabilities on all HX and HK SKUs.
Intel 13th Gen Core-P and U-series
The new Intel 13th Gen Core-P and U-series processors come with up to 14 cores (6 Performance-cores, 8 Efficient-Cores) and an enhanced Intel Thread Director. The processors are paired with Intel Iris X Graphics that feature endurance gaming, XESS Super Sampling and Intel Arc Control.
There is support for DDR5, DDR4, and LP variants. Connectivity options include Intel Wi-Fi 6E and new wireless features like Intel Connectivity Performance Suite, Intel Wi-Fi, Proximity Sensing and Intel Bluetooth LE audio. There are up to four Thunderbolt 4 ports.
Intel Evo Designs offer superior videoconferencing, which leverages technologies like Intel Connectivity Performance Suite and Intel Bluetooth LE Audio. They also offer a seamless multi-device experience enabling text messages, phone calls, phone notifications and file transfer from your PC to an Android or iOS-enabled phone.
