Intel has launched the 12th-generation Intel Core i9 12900KS desktop processor. The new processor, according to the company, is the fastest desktop processor that delivers up to 5.5GHz max turbo frequency with Intel Thermal Velocity Boost and Intel Adaptive Boost Technology (Intel ABT).The latest 12th-generation desktop processor comes with a total of 16 cores (eight P-cores and eight E-cores), 24 threads and 150W base power. The processor also supports overclocking to offer high-end gaming experience.

The Intel Core i8 12900KS is an unlocked processor designed for enthusiasts and gamers looking for a faster processor. The chip comes with 16 cores and 24 threads with max boost clock speed of up 5.5GHz and 150W power base. It also comes with a 30MB Intel Smart Cache for optimised performance. The processor supports PCIe Gen 5.0 and 4.0. Along with that, it also supports DDR5 4800MT/s and DDR4 3200MT/s RAM.
